TRANSCRIPT:
What is an Education of the HEART? It is moving learning from your cluttered HEAD to your more inspired HEART to build a lifelong passion
for learning.
The more I consider what learning is, the more I see it as a sacred privilege and an act of wonder. I
believe that when we are learning, we feel most alive. When we are learning, we feel closest to God.
When learning becomes something to avoid—a kind of punishment—I believe it's because the learner's
heart is not rectified. This might be what is meant when we say the “person's heart is just not in it”.
Meaning that although the person may be going through the motions, pretending to learn, learning is
not occurring.
When you teach, you learn twice AND when you have a passion, the lessons become part of your life
AND when you really believe something, your message will resonate with others. The whole philosophy of an Education of the HEART is to help students form their own questions of the heart and study, pray and seek guidance as they conduct their own search for truth.
So this poster presentation asks the question, What if an Education of the HEART could be captured on a
podcast, then real learning could move from the head to the HEART and be passed on to humanity!!
